Gearing down from the busy wedding season and gearing up for engagement and portrait sittings. It has been a great summer, it was a real pleasure to work with all the couples I worked with this summer.

This an image from last week at Jay Peak in northern VT. It was a ski trip where I had no intention of taking photos, but I couldn't resist. This is at the very top of the mountain and was the only glimpse of the sun I had that day as it was snowing hard for most of the day.
For the next two months I will be gearing up for wedding season working to get my schedule set while enjoying some time with the family and on the slopes.

On Friday I had the chance to connect with a trail buddy who I had not seen since 2001, Almond Joy is his trail name. Sounds weird, but yes everyone hiking from Georgia to Maine has a trail name, mine was Bodily Function. Anyway we went on a hike with his girlfriend Kara and covered 15 miles, with stood 50 mile an hour winds and 50 degree temperatures. Who would have thought you could have that much fun in such miserable weather.
